The LA Experience, Day Five

today we lay around for quite a while again, then got up and went over to the Buena Vista Mall. It is a huge mall that is spread over a very large space. We only went to one little part of it. We found a really neat dollar store, a food court that had a couple of restraurants that we don't get to see a lot of.

We were dropped off in front of Sears and walked through it to get into the mall. When we went downstairs we found the dollar store. It had some neat Disney stuff in it and some stuff that I wanted to get matt and boo for Christmas. Ann bought some stuff also.

We saw a neat store that had some jewellery, some neat candy and cell phone accessories and a bunch of other stuff. then we went into Walmart and went shopping.I bought a different cane as I hadn't brought one (locked it in the car and had locked the keys in the house, duh) and we looked around for gifts that didn't cost sixteen arms and twelve legs. I found a great gift for my daughter--Like I'm really going to post what it is here before Christmas. You will wait to find out just like she will. LOL

We decided to go down to the food court next. I told Ann that I thought that she would really enjoy trying the food at The Great Steak and Potato Company. Ann thought the burger and fries were great.

I had a loaded King Potatoe. Eileen White turned me on to that one and I am very grateful that there isn't a Great Steak andPotato Company anywhere near my house.

tomorrow we are planning about going to Disneyland. Ann keeps vacillating between going to Universal Studios and Knott's Berry Farm. I am not sure that we have the money to do both.
